Artist statement:
My sculptures are the result of a conversation between body and material. They show a transposition of forms and sensations, from the anatomy to the stone ; muscles, cartilages, tendons, bones, tissues mingle to the veins, grains, and crystals. Thereby, marble testify of beauty, strength, flexibility, such as weakness and sensibility integrating and respecting fractures and traumas. The LUD series is an experience, a shape expression process where anything can happen, a call to monumental, towards further spatial interactions.
