Maria Luz was born on January 27, 1999, in Lisbon. Last year she finished her bachelor’s degree in Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Lisbon, afterleavingthe bachelor’sofIndustrial Design at ESAD.CR. Between February and June 2020, she studied at the University of Ljubljana Faculty of Arts, Slovenia, underthe Erasmus programme.She currently lives and works in Lisbon, combining the visual arts with different collective projects, giving special priority tothe feminist collective MANAS (Lisbon, 2018)whichshe co-founded.She has been exhibiting her artwork regularly since 2017, collaborating with other artists on different projects.
