Sara Gonçalves

Born in Porto in 1998, where she lives and works.The artist studied ballet at Ginasiano Escola de Dança for 12 years, where she did  workshops in the dance company of Pina Bausch and Atterballetto/ Fondazione Nazionale della Danza.Attended painting at Escola Artística Soares dos Reis until 2015 after which she continued painting in an autonomous learning.                                                                       In January 2018 she emigrated to Barcelona, where she lived and worked until August 2020, date of return to Porto and where she continues her work until today. From December 2021 to January 2022 she was at Biblioteca Municipal de Santa Maria da Feira with her first solo exhibition "Inevitável".                               

 

From June to September 2022 the artist is present at the Bienal de Arte Contemporânea de Trás-os-Montes with 3 pieces.

 

 

 

 

 

•Attended painting at Escola Artística de Soares dos Reis, in Porto, until 2015, after which she followed a continuous autonomous learning. 

 

•Emigrated to Barcelona in 2018 where she continued working until 2020, date of return to Portugal.
