Biographical Note 

 

Catarina Pinto Leite 

 

 

Maria Catarina Vieira Pinto Leite de Castro was born in March 1963 in Lisbon. 

Shee began her studies in painting, in 1990, a course in decorative painting with Prof. Joana Valdez; 1991 to 1994 he studied drawing at the National Society of Fine Arts of Lisbon and, from 1992 to 1993, History of Art, also in SNBA. From around 1995 to 1999 to study painting, now with Painter Filipe Rocha da Silva. In 2000 performs an artistic retreat at the Convent of Tomar. 

In parallel, since 1991 Catarina Pinto Leite operates as a painting restorer, and between 2000 and 2005 taught painting and drawing in college in Lisbon.
